About Precious Promises

Precious Promises began with a simple desire: I wanted to help my children not just memorize the Bible, but truly understand and apply God’s Word in their daily lives. I had tried teaching them to memorize full chapters, but I realized they often couldn’t recall the parts they needed most in real-life situations. I longed for something more practical—scriptures they could sing, see, and remember when it mattered most.

I noticed that song was the easiest and most joyful way for them to learn. But I couldn’t find a resource that combined specific Bible promises, memorable scripture songs, and beautiful visuals to help them understand the meaning. So I began searching for scripture songs by other musicians—but soon realized there weren’t nearly enough songs to cover all the topics children face.

That’s when I got on my knees and asked God to help me write scripture songs myself—even though I had almost no musical background. I had taken piano lessons as a child but never even learned chords. I watched a few YouTube tutorials and prayed that God would teach me what I needed. And He did. To date, I’ve written over 70 scripture songs, and my children love them.

What started as a tiny idea for my own family has grown into a full book series, with:

At one point, we explored traditional publishing but never found the right fit. Then my husband, Matt, stepped in to help with the design. Our children even joined in to record many of the songs. What you see now is truly a family project, created with love, prayer, and a passion for helping children grow up with God’s Word in their hearts.

This series is the first publication of Little Branches, our small family-run publishing ministry dedicated to helping children hide God’s Word in their hearts through beautiful, scripture-centered resources. We hope to expand with more books, songs, and materials for families in the future.

Whether you’re a parent, teacher, or church leader, I hope Precious Promises becomes a meaningful tool for your family too.

Precious Promises has been a labor of love for our family for nearly four years. We have invested thousands of hours, countless resources, and much prayer into creating scripture songs and devotionals that help children fall in love with God’s Word.

It has truly been a full-time ministry for us, and we are grateful for every family who uses these resources, shares them, and supports the project so we can continue creating more.

With love,
